Eligibility 
Families who have a child(ren) with an underlying health condition, and/or are susceptible to COVID-19, and/or prefer Independent Study during the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible for TUSD Independent Study.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will TUSD Independent Study be offered to all grades?
Yes, all students in TK-12th grade will receive standards-align work.

Will a teacher be assigned to my child?
Xổ số Hà Nội Xổ số Hà Nội Yes, a TUSD Independent Study teacher will provide TUSD core curriculum and will help students stay on track with daily reminders and check-ins. 

How often will my child meet with his/her TUSD Independent Study teacher?
Xổ số Hà Nội Xổ số Hà Nội Your child will attend a one (1) hour weekly in-person online session, and receive live support from the teacher and have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers.

Will the TUSD Independent Study teacher collaborate with a Course Specific Teacher?
Yes, he/she will collaborate for assigned work.

What additional curriculum will be provided for middle and high school students?
Advanced Placement, honors, elective, dual credit and credit recovery courses, may be available.

How long can my child be in the TUSD Independent Study program?
Due to COVID-19, students may enroll for Independent Study a minimum of one (1) semester and/or up to two (2) semesters.
